This creamer is an option to fuel a long session. The fats in coconut oil, which are mostly medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), allow you're body to sustain energy throughout your session. Similar to the bulletproof method but this coffee theory is endorsed by Laird; the big wave surfer, the fitness guru, and the coffee connoisseur.
Adding this to your coffee can seem like a hit of crack. I first added it to my coffee on the way down to the beach. My friend offered a scoop and I curiously sipped away at my coffee. As soon as we suited up and hit the sand it felt like my brain just clicked into focus mode. I use Lairds superfood creamer for sessions needing high performance levels. When using I advise you have something physical to do shortly after consumption because sitting through traffic after a cup of Laird creamed coffee can make one lose their mind weaving, maneuvering through both the physical and mental world.
Ingredients to this super creamer are coconut milk powder, dried organic coconut nectar (coconut sugar), organic extra virgin coconut oil, Aquamin, and organic red palm oil. The last two ingredients are unique to the product. Aquamin is composed of red sea algae and contains bioactive calcium and minerals. It is said to impact bone, joint and digestive health. Red palm oil, a very controversial good to extract from earth, has high levels of vitamin A, E, and lycopene. Its also high in saturated fat adding to energy gained with using this superfood creamer.
The Laird Creamer adds a pretty desirable taste to your coffee. Tropical and addictively buttery. Laird sells another product “Super Fuel” which includes instant coffee ingredients great for camping and traveling but when at home I prefer my own pour over coffee and just adding the Superfood creamer.
